ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT

The Ramazan Youth Tournament is a community-Focused football initiative held annually in Hulhumalé Phase1, aimed at bringing young players together through sport during the holy month of Ramazan. Now in its third year, the tournament engages nearly 400 youth players from leading local academies, promoting positive values, healthy activity, and social unity.

Who we are

We are a dedicated youth sports organizing team based in Hulhumalé Phase 1, committed to developing young talent through structured football programs and community tournaments. For the past three years, we have successfully organized the Ramazan Youth Tournament, bringing together leading academies and nearly 500 young players. Our mission is to promote discipline, teamwork, respect, friendship, and unity through sports while creating a positive and safe environment for youth development.

President - Mausoom

Coach Mausoom is president of the Ramazan Youth Tournament and has successfully led the tournament for the past three years. With strong experience in youth sports coordination and community engagement, he oversees planning, scheduling, academy coordination, sponsorship communication, and match operations. His leadership, organization skills, and commitment to youth development have played a key role in making the tournament a respected and growing community event in Hulhumalé

General Secretary – Ahmed Shiyan

Ahmed Shiyan serves as the Event Coordinator of the Ramazan Youth Tournament, playing a vital role in ensuring smooth match operations and team coordination. With strong experience in youth football development, he manages player organization, match schedules, ground preparation, and communication with academies. His discipline, leadership, and commitment to youth sports contribute greatly to the tournament’s professionalism and success.

Tournament Operations Manager

Nazeel serves as the Tournament Operations Manager of the Ramazan Youth Tournament, overseeing all operational aspects to ensure the smooth execution of matches and event activities. He is responsible for match scheduling, ground coordination, team logistics, referee arrangements, and overall matchday management. With strong organizational skills and attention to detail, Nazeel plays a key role in maintaining the tournament’s structure, professionalism, and high standards, contributing significantly to its continued success over the past three years

Event Director Haneef

The Event Director oversees all tournament preparations, including planning. He also supervises ground setup, infrastructure arrangements, safety measures, and all necessary construction and engineering works to ensure the venue meets required standards. Through careful planning and leadership, he ensures the tournament runs smoothly and professionally.

IT and Technical Coordinator

Ismail Faisal (Issey) is the IT and Technical Coordinator for the Ramazan Youth Cup 2026, overseeing all digital and technical operations. He manages match schedules, player data, live updates, and tournament communications, ensuring everything runs smoothly and professionally. His dedication and technical expertise play a key role in the successful delivery of the tournament.

OUR TEAM

Our organizing team consists of experienced event managers, qualified youth coaches, and dedicated volunteers who are passionate about developing young talent through football. With three years of successful tournament management, our team works collaboratively in planning, operations, technical coordination, and community engagement. Together, we are committed to delivering a well-structured, disciplined, and impactful event that promotes Respect, Friendship, and Unity among youth in Hulhumalé.
